The item I received is clearly a fake. I received an item that does not match the picture above and is made in China. I do not know if product was switched purposely or to con the buyer. I paid for an American made product and got Chinese crap. I’m angry that I received this, I hope it was a mistake.

I like these rings because they work as intended and are a lot less expensive than other name brand rings. The quality is very good and I have never had a issue with them leaving scratches on my scopes. I use these on all my scopes rifles because they work. I read the first review above and the product he recieved in the package is not what the package says. The weaver 4 hole rings are just that, they have 4 holes that the screws go through to clamp the scope in place. Its 4 holes per ring and they are not supposed to be made in China. Maybe somebody bought them and put some cheap Chinese rings in the package and returned them and the seller didn't check for a fraudulent return. He should return them and try to get the correct rings. I have these rings on 2 ar15s, 1 ar10, a sporterized mauser, and a M1a, using some athlon scopes and Leupold scopes. I recommend these rings to other buyers because of their quality and price. I've never had them gouge my scopes or never had to lap them.

This is the second set of Weaver Tactical scope rings I have purchased. Used both on high quality steel picatinny rails with no lapping required.
