So far, this webcam is working well. It seems made well and the video quality is as good as any other webcam I have. The microphone is adequate, and others say my voice is clear and not distorted. It has different mounting options and is light enough to be put most anywhere. The auto light function works but the image jumps for some reason when it adjusts the light. It didn't come with the lens cover as advertised. This webcam would be good for general streaming and should work well for zoom meetings. I deducted a star for the missing lens cover.

So I just got this Webcam, and honestly? It’s exactly what I needed. Setup was an absolute breeze – literally just plugged it in and boom, it worked. No drivers, no complicated installation process, no messing around in settings. Just straight up plug-and-play, which is a relief because I hate dealing with finicky tech.The image quality is actually impressive for the price. Like, I wasn’t expecting true 4K quality, but it’s super sharp, clear, and the colors look pretty accurate right outta the box. The auto light correction is a nice touch too. I do a lot of video calls at different times of the day, and I’ve noticed it adjusts really well to the lighting in my room, so I don’t look like a shadowy figure when the sun goes down.One thing I was really happy about was the built-in microphone. I was kinda skeptical at first, cause most webcams say they have a “good” mic and then sound like your talking through a tin can. But this one actually picks up my voice clearly without too much background noise. I still prefer using a dedicated mic for important meetings, but for casual calls and streaming, this one does the job just fine.Also, love the fact that it comes with a webcam cover. Privacy is a big deal for me, and instead of using tape or some janky DIY cover, I can just slide the cover closed when I’m not using it. It’s a simple but really thoughtful addition.If I had to nitpick, the only downside is that the camera angle is a little wide. Which is great if you want to capture more of your background, but if your space is messy, well, good luck hiding it! Haha. But honestly, that’s a minor thing.Overall, this webcam is perfect for anyone who wants something that just WORKS without any hassle. Whether your using it for video calls, streaming, online lessons, whatever – it’s a solid choice. Super happy with this purchase!

This seems to actually be 4K and not just upscaled. The low-light capability is quite good, maintaining very reasonable quality and good frame rate even in a very dimly lit room. With more light the performance only improves.I am attempting to upload a 100% crop (zoomed in to 100% and then cropped, i.e. the pixel level) of a car. I say "attempting" because Amazon will very likely recompress it and resize it, so please take that into account. In addition the window I'm taking this through isn't the absolute cleanest so the contrast is a little shot- that's the window's fault not the camera. While there is clear compression going on (to be expected in a webcam) I can still reasonably make out the car's make label on its grill, which is only about 8 pixels high. While not DSLR quality, it's really not bad for a webcam at 4K resolution with compression. I consider this a solid pass.I am also uploading a full resolution image of a wall and curtain in order to attempt to show the level of detail on the full-resolution image. Again no doubt Amazon will have its way with the compression and resolution before it gets to you, so take that into account- but hopefully it gives you an idea.I like the flip-down cover option for privacy, as I don't like to trust nothing is nefariously using my webcam in this day and age. It doesn't come attached, and is attached with a little adhesive patch so you don't have to install it if you don't want it.It's easy to clip to the top of a monitor, but also comes with a little stand. Any 1/4-20 mount will work as well. The stand it comes with has nice non-slip rubber feet. The USB cable is long enough for most reasonable situations. The USB connector is blue on the inside which is usually only used for USB 3, however this appears to actually be USB 2.

This is a very good webcam for the price, and it even includes a neat mini-tripod. The packaging is very simple and there's no software, but it's plug-and-play so none is needed. I've tried a few Zoom calls with it and it works totally fine, actually better than expected. The microphone is exceptional as well. I did notice that it wants to sit on the monitor a bit lopsided, owing to the cable attaching near the far edge instead of in the middle. It can be corrected if you support the cable to prevent its weight from pulling on the camera. It has a red indicator for power (connection) and a bright green indicator for when in use. It's not as compact as my prior webcam, and actually it looks like it's mostly empty space inside (you can see in through air flow ports on the back) but I'm sure there's a reason for it. Considering the price ($40), absolutely nothing to complain about.
