Comfortable and effective. Can use just with the velco or with the metal latch for extra security.

This is an excellent weight belt by Fit Team. I have owned several over the years and they all are great. I use them for my fitness workouts are EOS Health Club in Gilbert,AZ. Highly recommended.

I've bought these belts before and love this company. My only complaint on this one is that whoever finished it or packaged it slit it in two places with a box cutter. I bought the American flag belt and there are two very fine slices down the backside straight to the padding. Just disappointed is all. Belt is still good for work.

I bought this weight belt after losing my last belt. I wanted something that provided stability and back support as well as comfort since I weight train and often lift heavy. After reading some of the reviews for this belt, as well as the warranty that the company provides, I decided to buy it. Since I've been using this belt, I like it more and more. After a couple wears, I broke it in nicely and now I am so happy that I got it. The belt is very lightweight but provides great support. It has a velcro strap so you can adjust the tightness to your exact preference. You can tell that this company paid close attention to details because the belt is designed with extra padding in the back which is excellent for people who do exercises or movements that put strain on your lower back. The belt also has a dri-fit texture so if you sweat alot (like I do), it does not affect the feel or support of the belt. All in all, a great product for the price. So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've tried multiple belts that were either borrowed from the gym or from friends, and this one is easily the most comfortable belt I've tried yet. The Velcro makes it real easy to loosen and tighten, it supports my back just find, and it doesn't dig into my hips or back when doing squats. It also folds up nicely to store away in my bag. Unlike traditional leather belts that are curled into a huge loop, this one tri-folds and can be slipped into my gym bag. It has held up nicely so far, and it came at a very affordable price. I'd definitely buy this as a gift for any gym friends, or even recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new gym belt.

After much research on weightlifting belts, I decided to go with a nylon belt. This one fit the bill, and at a great price! I was hesitant to write a review without using it, though. Well, yesterday was leg day. I did several sets of progressively heavier squats, and the belt felt great. There was no pinching or pulling, and it did not inhibit movement at all. The belt gave great support in the depth of my squat, but I did not feel like my core was completely relying on it(which is what I was looking for).I then progressed to deadlifts. I really like the slightly wider back area. This helped keep me mindful of my back position while going for heavier lifts. I also had the same great, but not overbearing, support with deadlifts. Just enough to assure me that I wasn't going to hurt myself because I had a good brace. I still feel like my abdominal muscles were doing 90% of the work(in fact, they are sore as I write this).I was weary about the velcro, ordering online, but I no longer am. The strap is completely covered in velcro, and it was quite secure. If you are going to be using a belt for true powerlifting and you need it to enhance your power output, I would advise you go with leather. However, if you are looking for something that will aid in your safety and not inhibit range of motion, this is the belt for you.

Yes this is a great belt for the price. Adjustable waist allows you to get a really tight fit when you need itThicker in back and shorter in front makes it very comfortable when doing any kind of movement involving a squat press.Definitely recommend

For $30 I didn't expect much, and I have been using a cheap narrow fake leather belt for 10+ years. This one is so much more comfortable around the waste and so far I like the Velcro instead of the belt tabs as I could never get the previous one to fit just right. With that said, today it seem to work pretty good, but it does not seem to be a very "beefy" product, again I understand it was pretty inexpensive, but if you are a heavy powerlifter wanting something to really take a beating, I'm not sure I would recommend this one. I'm 38 and don't lift heavy but because I'm old I feel more comfortable having a belt on doing squats, deadlifts, shoulder presses etc.Sizing: I am a size 32/33 all day, and I think I would have gotten the next size up if I were to do it again, Maybe IM not using it right but I'm used to the front overlapping and on this the 2 ends pretty well meet in the middle . Word!

I actually bought this for a very specific purpose not having to do with going to the gym. I have an 85 lb yellow lab who is 10 and has arthritis. Stairs have become a huge issue and sometimes he just can't make them up them alone. On those occasions I have to carry him (or at least provide serious support). In the past I have hurt my lower back (which is prone to problems) trying to get him up the stairs. I got this belt to simply wear when I need to lift him. I've now used it once for that and I have to say that it really did provide the needed support and my back did not hurt after carrying my dog. It's very lightweight, yet extremely sturdy and the velcro belt cinches easily and holds firm. You should remember that when you order, your size is not your waist size. Measure around your gut at belly button level. I am a 29" waist, but around my midsection I am a 33". I went for the X-Small even though I was right on the cusp and I believe I made the right size choice. I make the belt very snug and although because I'm at the high end of the X-Small size I only get a bit of the velcro closure, it holds great.
