Westins Pro Traxx 4 Oval Nerf Step Bars feature a 4in. oval tube with a heavy-duty step pad that provides a wider and more secure step area. They feature 30 factory style bends that have seamless domed ends so there are no end-caps or exposed bolt heads. Applications are bolt-on installation.

Installation was easy. After reading some of the reviews about cheap bolts because they were breaking is because they didn't follow instructions. The hex head bolts torque at 18 ft lbs and the pan head screws (that go in the bottom of step) torque at 30 ft lbs.

These are great! I'm a short (girl) and need a step-up into our pick-up truck! My husband didn't have any trouble installing.. and I love them!

The step bars themselves are great. The hardware to mount them with is very low quality. You must be extremely careful with the very soft 10mm button head mounting screws. I was not able to achieve the torque specs before the hex socket rounded out. Also I had to remove the step bar after installation for another reason and re-install it and when I did one of the 8mm clip nuts pulled through. I suggest using better hardware for mounting.

Very easy to install. No drilling required. The directions are a little confusing as to which screws and bolts to use in each hole the pictures are not very clear. Have them on the truck about two months very happy with them very stable and make getting in and out of the truck very easy.

Fit well, easy to install in about 30 minutes with basic tools on my 2015 Silverado 2500 HD. Seems to be well made and the design fits well with the truck.
