2018 GMC Crew cab. Replacements for factory step boards. New hangars installed into factory locations without problems. The only issue I have us is that the connection of the step bar and the hangar saddle is curved, because the step bar is oval shaped. And the curves of the saddle and the step bar are not a perfect match. I carefully tightened all the bolts so as not to strip the threads in the step bars. Seems to be holding together. The step bars are very nice looking and well made, besides the fitment.

I'm not particularly handy, but the directions are pretty simple and in the modern world of "YouTube" there is also plenty of video reinforcement to aid in the install. All parts needed for the install were included. They look great on my truck and they do seem really sturdy. I'm thrilled. I was debating forever about stainless steel vs. black nerf bars, but in the end I thought with this particular truck color and without black rims the stainless steel was the best choice.

These look great and seem to be good quality. The problem was the installation. The driver side went great, but the passenger side came with mounting brackets that I assume were made to universally fit the diesel trucks with the DEF tank. My truck is a gas engine and has no tank, but I had to cut the front two mounting nuts off of my rocker panels, and had to cut, and reweld, and paint the front two passenger side brackets to get the step bar to mount square and level to the truck. The most annoying thing is I contacted Westin twice before cutting the brackets, and never received any type of reply

Very nice bars, packaged well and organized... My hardware bag did open during shipping and I had to hunt for a few lock washers but I found them. Install directions are far more confusing than the actual job. Boggles my mind how you can make such a good product yet be unable to deliver installation instructions clearly. The YouTube video is best to watch and go from there.I used a torque wrench but stopped shy of the prescribed torque as I was afraid I would snap a bolt... I mean I put some beef into them and think 18 lbs torque on upper nuts is to much.Very nice product at a great price....

These nerf bars were easy to install. All the installation parts fit exactly as outlined in the instructions, saving me a lot of money compared to dealer installation. The polished stainless steel looks great on my black truck. The ends are welded, which is much better than plug caps. The only thing I did different was to add a dab of Threadlocker Blue to the bolts. The price was reasonable and the bars look fantastic!

The Chevy dealer wanted $600 for chrome steps which were open on each end allowing salt and water in which could cause it to rust from the inside. These Westin steps are enclosed and look just as good for 1/2 the price. I had the black ones on my previous Silverado for 7 years and they still looked great when I sold the truck.I ordered these for my 2015 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab and I expected them to take 5-7 days to arrive, but they came within 2 days. Free shipping on these heavy items with Prime is awesome. The box came via UPS damaged, but the steps and brackets were well protected. However, the hardware bag was torn and some bolts were missing. I had enough hardware to install the drivers side step and called Westin customer service about the missing pieces. They were delivered via FedEx in two days!! A few notes about installation.....there is a YouTube video specific to this vehicle which you should watch as the instructions are not overly clear and actually incorrect. The video is only 10 minutes and will save you lots of headache. Total installation was less than one hour, but you WILL need a torque wrench that goes down to 15lbs.. I overtightened a bolt and broke it off and had to drill it out. There are 6 bolts and 6 screws per side, which makes for a quick and easy install.
