These step bars came in a day early. They were very well packaged, as you can see in my photos there was even foam on the ends of the box to protect the ends of the bars. I was surprised to see Westin even glued in place the center box holding the hardware and brackets to aid in shipping. All of the parts were well wrapped and well protected, no scratches or dents. As for the install, if you take a few minutes to read over the included Instructions, lay out the parts and hardware and have your tools ready this is one of the easiest installs I have done in my 25 years working on cars. I did not use a lift as the these trucks sit high enough that sliding under is a breeze. These bars are sturdy and look great on my truck. I would recommend these bars to anyone looking to add step bars to their truck.

the drivers side step does not line up, you need to force it and the top is not level with anything... I DO NOT recommend you buying this. I spoke with Mr. Gomez from westin and all their steps were made like this.... They don't know how long it will take to fix this problem...Mr Gomez wiped his hands clean by telling me to send it back to amazon...

First off I'd like to note that these come as a pair of 2 running boards - since the pictures only show one and the description doesn't mention a pair. For anybody that was wondering if it came as 2 - yes, it does.Pros:--Easy Installation (took almost exactly 1 hour with 2 people, an impact, some vice grips and a ratchet).--Makes my 2016 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab look bad-a**! I just got the Silverado and already fell in love with it but after putting these on it just looks like a beast.Cons:--The pair I received... the passenger-side running board had scratches and scuffs on it. This is why I rated it four stars. I didn't return it because I had already had to wait an extra few days due to the first set I received not having any hardware at all. Amazon rectified that and sent me this pair and I was too anxious to send it back again. If this one hadn't had scuffs/scratches on it I'd have rated it 5 stars.Pro Tip: If you're not a tiny little person I'd recommend jacking the truck up on the side you're working on or something first. Really, really tight quarters. Installation was super easy if you follow the directions for your model. Highly recommend 2 people to make things go smoother. 4 people if you have enough tools - you can probably do it in 20 minutes!

I just installed these yesterday, but I am happy thus far. It took me about 45 minutes, and I installed them in my driveway without a crawler or a lift. SUGGESTION: be very careful when installing the clip for the rear mounts. When you have to put the clip through a hole it would be easy to drop the clip inside the panel. I tied a piece of string into a slip knot and wrapped it around the clip during the installation, then took the string off after the mount was installed.

(Husbands truck and his feedback) Easy to install and they look great, however 5 of the brackets are the same and the different 1 for the front on the passenger side is just wacky and didn't need to be different I don't think. I have 2015 Silverado Crew Cab and it seems like a bracket exactly the same as the other 5 would have been a better fit and saved me some time on the install as well (install video on the manufacturer website made it easy for those of use who learn by watching someone). Otherwise, great so far just installed them today. Total install time (went slow because I did it by myself) about 2hours. You could do it in less time. They are much lighter weight than they appear to be so handling is easy.

Nice quality for the price, I paid 150, plus they arrived in 3 days. Installation was about 2 hours because I took my time and didn't rush. I person can easily complete the task. The biggest delay was in due to the threads on the rocker panel having paint on them and having to chase the threads clean. So far, about a month no issues with wear. Forward step pad seems a little toward when exiting the vehicle with foot placement, but not a big deal. These bars are very light weight, and probably a thin gauge metal, so don't use them for any thing other than a step or you are likely to dent them. These bars are slightly oval, and due stop road debrie from striking the lower rocker panels.

Overall, good quality step bars. exact fit, no drilling required. READ directions carefully!!!! sort out your hardware before beginning. Be sure to keep stickers for driver and passenger on the correct bar! Look for the green bagged mount bar. Its for the REAR passenger side (its the only one that's different.. Loosely tighten everything at first. everything will pretty much fall into place.Here's my MAJOR COMPLAINT about this kit (it has nothing to do with the bar itself). its the HEX wrench and the HEX nuts that mount the bar to the bracket. As another reviewer stated, the hex nut it very shallow, so the wrench can't get down in there really good to tighten. I BARELY managed to get my drivers side installed, my hex wrench is stripped and chewed up pretty bad. Its a special wrench just for these nuts.....I'm going to have to call WESTIN and get them to send me another (if not two) more hex wrenches so I can complete the installation. Other than this annoying problem, the boards are sturdy, and are a great compliment to my truck, and make getting in a bit easier. WESTIN, include an extra hex wrench in the kit!!!!
