The steps seem well made. The attachment points are not really great but I'm not sure there's a better bolt on way to attach them.They certainly help with entering and exiting the truck. I would have liked them to protrude out just a bit more. Maybe 2 inches at most.I would buy them again as my likes outweigh my dislikes

It took me a few minutes to see how they went on and sift through all the parts. After that installation was super easy. All together it maybe took an hour or so just taking my time. Very pleased with he fit and quality. Also very happy to find a name brand step to fit my old truck.1996 F-150 Ext cab

Installed these on an extended cab 1995 Ford F-250. These are very solid side steps for the price. Westin did a good job using the existing truck components as attachment points, which creates a clean look, relatively easy install and adequate attachment. The brackets attach to the frame, seat belt bolt and front body bushing bolt. Just follow the directions and be sure to torque everything to the indicated specifications and you'll be fine. The first one will take you about an hour and the second one will take you about 5 minutes.For all the good, there are a couple of things that were frustrating:- Parts are not clearly labeled, which made the process a bit tedious because there are several bolts that are the same size, but different thread counts, so be aware of this or else you will strip something.- The QA on the threaded holes was terrible. I ended up just busting out my tap and die kit and rethreading everything because it was so bad.- The packaging was terrible. The first set of these showed up looking like they had been dropped out if the back of a C-130 from 25,000 feet. Amazon was quick to replace them at no cost, but Westin obviously put little-to-no thought into how these are packaged.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Now we'll see how well they hold up.

These nerf bars look good, and all the hardware was there, BUT... whoever was in charge of tapping the 1/2-13 threads on the nerf bar ends and the subsequent inspector failed miserably. 3 of the bolts (2 on the driver side, and the passenger side forward) took significant effort to get run down, but the last one (of course, it's always the last one) threads in a few turns and then gets successively tighter and tighter. It will not run down even close to tight. At this point, I'm going to have to buy a tap and try to fix up the threads and hopefully salvage this bar.Invest in some better equipment or some better QA, Westin.

This was a good price and not all that difficult to install, by my self. Really adds a good look to the truck, they do suggest that keep clean and polish to protect from rust.

The nerf bars arrived in great packaging. Once removed everything was there.The instructions were clear and simple.It took just about one hour to install.The fit and finish are great.This was a nice addition to my 1995 f-250.

These were good quality steps, at a decent price. Had them installed at a local garage, and was told that they were easy to install. So far they are working great, and look pretty good too.
