These running boards are very sturdy, sleek and very well built. I like the design of the tubing so it closed in on both ends as to not let the elements get inside and rust it out. These run close to the body of the truck which was a big plus for me. I think we'll have These running boards for awhile.

Bought these to replace my black Lund step bars. The ones I replaced only lasted 3 years before they rotted from the inside out. We'll see how these hold up. Overall they are very sturdy and look great on my truck.

One of my steps has a foreign object stuck inside. At every stop I can hear the foreign object roll to the front of the step and then roll back as I accelerate. I sent Westin two emails about a week apart and have heard no response. The poor quality control and lack of customer support makes it easy for me to not recommend Westin products.

Overall this is a great product. They look great on my truck and are extremely sturdy. It was a nice bonus that the bracket covers came with the step bars. With that said these step bars were far from easy to install. This is mostly due to the lack of labels on any of the brackets and one huge bag of nuts and bolts. If the brackets had been labled and the hardware been packaged/labeled the install would have been a breeze. Instead It took a lot of time to examine the diagrams in the instructions and guess at which bracket was supposed to go where. With all this said, I ended up having to switch out a few brackets after i was nearly done when I realized I had gotten a couple of the brackets switched up. Additionally this set of stepbars does require some drilling in the pinch weld if the holes are not already present. My truck they were already present so I did not have to do any drilling but figured I would mention that some drilling may be necessary.Overall this is a great product and I am very happy with the purchase.

Product installation was perfect and drama free for me, I know others have reported issues with newer trucks. Fit my 2018 Crew Cab 5'7' bed Ram 1500 Laramie perfectly; no drilling, no missing hardware, etc. Once I figured out how to install the Riv-Certs (nut insert things) by watching a video things were much easier. Reading instructions for that one step was a bit useless. Simple version is to loosely install the "Nut Plates" (rotated over just a bit) to line it up with the middle hole and wrench it in with regular bolt but WITHOUT the washer or lock washer (otherwise won't go in far enough). Then take the bolt out and ready to go.I was NOT missing any hardware for my install, had everything I needed. They look nice too!

Directions that came with it were not accurate. Had to fit up as I went along. Also the front driver side bracket had to be cut to fit. They did not include four 8 mm bolts. They sent me four 10 mm bolts to fit in the factory installed bushings instead. Had to run to the store to get them. Even though I had to modify and run to the local hardware store they look great and are nice and sturdy. If your handy go for it. If not, I'd pass.

Wrong hardware and not enough hardware. The rails look good and seem to be sturdy, but I spent way too much time installing them due to the missing hardware. Also the directions had terrible pictures on them. Next time I will pay the extra and get the factory rails.

I look at a few different versions of this product before deciding on this one. A lot of reviewers of other versions mention brackets needed to be swapped, and having issued installing. I had 0 issues with the brackets fitting corretly and everything was easy to install. They come with 6 brackets, 3 for each side. The brackets with the holes for the small bolts to go through the bottom lip go on the rear of the vehicle. The other brackets in front of those. Installation was easy. To install, you will need a Torque Wrench (Adjustable to 8 and 30 ft-lb), a 18mm socket, a 17mm socket (Deep well, 1/2" drive recommened), and a 10 mm wrench. The product comes with both a 4mm and 6mm hex wrench, but if you have a set of T-Handle hex wrenches, they make the installation A LOT easier. The manufacturer also recommends using a torque wrench on the hex drive bolts, so you may also need a 4mm and 6mm hex socket if you want to do that. Installation took about 2 hours. Product fits great, and looks great. Very happy with the way everything turned out. Product was installed on my 2014 Ram 1500 Crew Cab.
