I'm rating this 5 star because it is a great product and there are very few nerf boards or running boards available that fit a first gen double cab Toyota tundra. But installation instructions are awful, and their packaging is inadequate because both of my shipments had some damageIt appears to be perfectly sized and positioned for practical use. I was a little concerned that it seemed to have a larger gap between it and the truck cab than I wanted. However, after installation, I believe it is perfect for functionality. I ended up with 14 1/2 inches of ground clearance. But my truck Cab is about 1-1/2 to 2 inches higher than stock.The negative: as others have noted, the instructions are simply horrible. I've included some pictures and advice that will hopefully helpThe packaging is woefully insufficient. Although the tubes are wrapped in thin bubble wrap in a box within a box, it is inadequate for this big and heavy of a product. IMO in needs about 3" of styrofoam in addition to existing packaging. The first set came with a dent in the driver side The replacement set came with a tiny dent on both sides and one small chip. They were going to file a claim with the carrier for the first one however, I believe the problem is in their packaging. I was also missing one nut and two washers. Fortunately, I still had the box from the first shipment, so it did not slow me down. And the hardware seems to be more than adequate. Unlike some other products I've read about.Installation: as in the pictures, I used a 19 mm socket and a short extension as well as a 19 mm ratchet wrench.Once I struggled through the driver side and had all of the tools laid out and the passenger side unboxed, the passenger side installation took less than 30 minutes. Although there were a few tight spots and a bit of a pain, it is to be expected with this type of installation and I honestly don't believe they could've designed it any better for the installationThe brackets are labeled DF for driver front, DR for driver rear, PF and PR for the passenger sideThe front brackets are whiter at the bottom to allow room for the board.For every stud, there should be a nut lock, washer and big washer. For every bolt you should have that times 2. Mine did notI would also highly recommend initially put all of the brackets and the Nerf board finger tight. Then come back and snug them, but where you can still move the board. Then tighten the two nuts for the Nerf board and then finally tighten the nuts for the brackets.Lastly, if yours are black like mine and you live in the south, don't leave it in the sun while you're installing because it will quickly get way too hot to handle even in early May.

I like the look on my 06 tundra. The directions are absolutely garbage and there are no installation videos on their website. I did find a similar brand installation video on YouTube and that one answered all my questions. Once I saw that video, these were super easy to install!

The product itself looks great and fits perfectly on a 2006 Tundra double cab. The plastic step area lines up great with the doors and it feels solid to step on.However I had to dock a star because of the god awful directions. I mean really bad. I probably spent just as much time figuring out what the directions were trying to tell me as I did actually putting these on the truck. Oddly worded instructions along with pictures so light and tiny you can't make out any of the small parts or where they should go. Trial and error and just generally knowing the order washers, lock washers, and nuts usually go on will be the way you figure this out. Once you get the one side figured out the other is a breeze though.I would buy them again but those who are not mechanically inclined might have some issues following the directions.

These DO FIT 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 Double CabRegardless of what Amazon garage says, they do not recognize double cab. Checked the application sheet on Westin's website which verified fit. Product came quickly.Be warned, the instructions for installation are absolutely horrible! Following the instructions for 1 side and there was an unacceptable amount of play when stepping on the bars. Other side installed it the way I felt it should be installed and there's no play.Weight limit on these bars are 300 lbsTook 1 star for the horrible directions. Bars are great. Pads line up with doors. Took longer to try to decipher directions than actually install. Total install took about 45 mins-1 hour, however I'll have to go back and reinstall the side that has too much play. I have factory mud flaps and these don't come close to interfering.

Fit perfectly. Instructions were not real clear, but once I figured it out, it was very easy to install. It took more time to unpack them than to install them.
