Had to return the originally purchased set to get the correct amount of brackets. Once the new steps came I had to combine the two sets of brackets to get one good set for install. Instructions are very low quality and bracket markings are incorrect on both sets (according to the packing list in the instructions) so I don't know who is quality checking the bracket and hardware sets at Westin but they need to be fired. If they were quality checking that it had a QC sticker they're doing a great job! Lol. When I finally got all the brackets I needed, and figured out where they went, the install was easy. They are solid steps and good looking on the truck but I had to give it 4 stars due to Westin's lack of quality checking their product before selling to the customer. Kuddos to the Amazon team for their return policy. It makes it so much easier and less time consuming for sure.

Installation was simple. Although instructions were pretty difficult to read and decipher. Only took about 45 mins to install them, seem to be holding up great. Will update after a few more months to see if the hard ware is rusting or not.

Garbage, 4 months in and they are already showing rust. They both had a little blemish in the metal in the same spot on both sides and now they are both rusting.

Were awesome for about 4 months then all the powder coat started to flake off and now they’re all rusty... disappointed to say the least. Looked great and functioned well in the beginning.

The good - they look good. The bad - the box was beat up and one end was bent a little. It was on the end toward the middle of the truck. I straightened the end but the coating was chipped and bare metal was showing. I dabbed a little undercoating on it to prevent rust. The u-nut clips provided are to brittle. I tried squeezing one together so it would stay in the hole until I put a bolt in it and it broke in half. I used the needed half in one of the bottom spots where it doesn't matter. On another one it cracked as I got it almost tight. I used a 8mm nut that I had on that one. These u-nut clips should have welded nuts on them instead of just pushing a hole through the thin metal and tapping the hole. The instructions were sometimes vague and a little hard to follow but it did have some clear pictures..

I bought these for my husband to put on our 2016 GMC Sierra Extended Cab Elevation Edition truck. The drop down steps are exactly what I was needing to be able to get into the truck easier and these fit perfectly, look great with the sporty look of the truck overall, and they are very sturdy and do not bend down when someone steps on it to get into or out of the truck. Great buy!

Installed yesterday. They are sturdy and fairly easy to install.Westin has a short how to video on their YT channel and the provided instructions are decent. They also included new step hardware to address the rusting issue. Shows they listen to customers.
