As a new diesel mechanic there a particular socket I didn't carry which was the well known diff socket, I got tired and possibly got the only guy in the shop annoyed for constantly asking for his when I needed so I bit the bullet and got one for myself, this socket as done me justice lessen my times on some checks/top offs/repairs due to not waiting for the guy to hand over his socket lol.

Work on old farm equipment and have found many square nuts and bolt heads. I lost the Craftsman socket that size and needed a replacement. I worked with Williams tools for over 30 years in an industrial setting and never had a problem with any of them.Good name to buy.

Needed to get the transmission drain plug off of a 1974 Corvette. This perfectly fit the square-shaped plugs. I little expensive but its better than rounding the bolt I guess.
