I used this to attach the firewall connection on a Honda Civic to a fuel hose to remove contaminated fuel from my car. For this purpose they were excellent, I removed the semi-hard line going from the firewall to the mechanical fuel pump, and attached this to that line and used a scan tool to enable the fuel pump. No-mess way to drain a tank!

Used on a generator gas line for a detachable fuel tank. I put a little oil on and heated the hose with a hair dryer and it went into place. Works perfect and no leaks. Saved a lot of money by using this and not the original parts.
