I love it so far. It should have come with some plugs to seal the extra input holes. Also, it's unacceptable that it doesn't come with instructions. If you need to gain mechanical skills, you should check out tutorials on YouTube. It's an easy task if you have some mechanical ability. I only had one part I wasn't familiar with, but I managed to figure it out by watching a tech demonstrate how to connect the speakers to the bike. I highly recommend finding a shop to handle the wiring.

Good box. that is the only good thing I can say good about my experience with this company.Don't buy this product; but the one without any lights or speakers.It is a Chinese company no phone number to their company in CA that work.No directions; No wiring for the lights or speakers; can't get anywhere with their customer service'.Had to wait for all the parts that ship separately. Big pain in the but..

There are a lot of predrilled holes in the unit, but none for the seat or the luggage rack. The marked holes do not line up for the luggage rack, so I suggest marking and making your own. The center hole on the seat does not line up either ad it is premarket to low. Also, the mounting pan that goes inside is flat and not contoured with the trunk. So the liner no longer fit. I just trimmed down the flat metal.The docking bracket was not shipped with mine when I opened the box, so I was a little upset at first because the picture showed it. I went ahead and ordered one to mount it then a week later my docking bracket actually showed up.....after I already ordered, received and installed a different one. Other than that not a bad price for everything now that I know the docking bracket comes with it.

There are not many options for larger high quality trunks. I took a chance and bought this one but I have some regrets.Trunk is big and sturdy however the latch fell apart shortly after I got it on the bike. Seller won't replace as they said too much time passed - shipped trunk in October which is end of riding season here in central Canada.Also, back rest was out of stock and didn't get til February.AS there is no mounting hardware had to have some made. Finally get it on bike in July and latch fails. XFMT admits they had a bad batch of latches but want me to pay for a new one (with no guarantee new one would be any better). I explained my situation but with no success.I had high hopes but ultimately poor workmanship and poor customer service = I WOULD NOT BUY from them again.Lesson: You get what you pay for. If you are not sure, like I was, move along and consider another product. Maybe something from North America

The pack is awesome it will come with a lot of hole but they are for all the attachments that you can get with the pack. The only detachable trunk mount that will work/fit with ANY aftermarket tour packs that I’ve test is the one I’ve added to the photos. You will 100% need the inner baseplate that is molded for these aftermarket tour packs.You cannot bolt plastic to metal and then put store anything inside of it without a cracking and breaking. I have bought and tried all of them trying to find out which was the correct set up. The screws that come with the kit for the hip speakers are to small you will have to source longer ones.There are vary faint marks on the inside of the lid for the luggage rack. They do not line up correctly for it you will have to make the holes bigger and seal it afterwards. The backrest hole will have to be drilled out those makes lineup right.The hardware that comes with the kit I’ve exchanged for more heavily duty. Overall it is a awesome little weekend job that you can spread out to get out of house work haha. And In my opinion you can’t go wrong with. The customer service is awesome.

Overall the unit appears sturdy. I am, however, disappointed with several things. My biggest disappointment is that the screw holes for the luggage rack and backrest were not pre-drilled at the the factory. On the inside of the lid there are marks but they are NOT accurate. Second dislike was that hardware for the plastic speaker inserts was not included. Next, as for the included liner. There are factory pre-drilled holes for just about everything EXCEPT for the speaker inserts! Really? I digress, I believe the unit is overall a good product, after all you get what you pay for. I Just feel they just gave up in the production process and took a few nonquality shortcuts. Oh well, for the most part, I am so far happy; I just need to do a few modifications now.

I am without a doubt the perfectionist type and was very skeptical of this tour pak or any of the aftermarket paks at this price point. I did not want to pay the Harley price so I figured what the heck, its under 200 bucks so took a chance and am blown away with the fit, finish and over all quality of this tour pak. It is an awesome upgrade from my 2008 pak that looks more like a box compared to this newer, slicker style tour pak. I also bought the new air foil luggage rack and the side lights and am real happy with that as well. I read where guys have ordered these that came with pre-drill holes they didn't want or need. You just need to be careful with what you order because you can order them with or without the holes you want. I ordered mine without any holes and that is exactly what I got. I made a template and drilled the holes for the rack and it all worked out perfect. This is a beautiful piece and compared side by side with one a buddy bought last year from Harley for over 1400 bucks you can not tell the difference. Ha, he almost threw up when I told him what I paid for mine. If you want to add a tour pak or up grade from the older style box I would highly recommend this tour pak.

The tour bag itself is made with excellent material, it’s almost identical to the ones made by Harley, however there are several reasons why I have to give this a two star and the quality of materials used is not one of them.I will start with the biggest reason that I have to give this a two star, and that is that the mechanism that holds a piece of rope which in turn holds the lid while it’s open... broke within five seconds of me opening the bag and letting it rest in the open position. Pics included.Another reason was, there are slight scratch marks all over it which is not a big deal to me but worth mentioningAnd finally the most confusing of all. They have multiple holes drilled out for accessories that are Not included with this tour pack.....However,They do Not pre-drill any of the holes for the accessories that they give you with the bag… This is unbelievably confusing to me.The first picture shows the broken mechanism in and the severed ropeThe second picture shows holes drilled for accessories I do not have or plan on ever using.The third and fourth picture shows two areas where holes are not drilled for the accessories that are included with this “kit“
