5 min job to bolt on. Originally needed to add 2 sae nuts on each side that slide over the supplied allen bolts. 2 per side fixed spacing of the too short rear spacersUltimately bought some 1/2' aluminum tube from Menards for about $4 and cut longer rear spacers.Rack is light, well made, and bolts up nicely.

After reading reviews about the rear spacers being too short I was hoping the problem had been resolved. Unfortunately the issue has not been corrected as of 6.14.23. After contacting the company it looks like it will be 2-3 weeks or more before the problem is resolved. I will be returning the rack, and would avoid purchasing unless you want to spend time and money to fabricate on something that should fit from the factory.

As another reviewer stated, the rear fitment is not correct. The rack requires short spacers between rack and motorcycle for the front 2 bolts, and long spacers for the rear 2 bolts. The spacers included for the rear bolts are not the correct size (not even close). Each of these spacers would need to be about 1/2 inch longer to fit. I'm heading to the hardware store to try to find some replacement spacers that will work. It would take so little to include the correct spacers and then all would be fine! Ugh.5/11/23. I contacted the company and explained to issue. They asked for a pic which I sent them showing the spacers too short. They sent a shipment by 2 day Air from Guangzhou China which included the corrects spacers plus some extra. AND they included a "product we are working on" - an adjustable length Kickstand for my CRF250L free of charge. They asked nothing of me, and did not request an edit to my review. They simply asked for another chance. The new spacers were perfect fit. The free kickstand was a generous consolation. 5 STARS, thank you.

Bought these with Xitomer saddlebag supports for my 2017 CRF-250 Rally. Had to remove the Honda toolbox to get everything on, and use an angle grinder to trim the spacers that came with the saddlebag supports to work with the top luggage rack, but it all went together in the end. The build quality on this (the top rack) is much better than the saddlebag supports - powder coated aluminum, very sturdy, very clean cuts, all included bolts were fully formed and threaded (unlike the saddlebags). Absolutely no shimmy or give once bolted down. I didn't have problems with the spacers as listed in other reviews, but then, I was using a mix of the original spacers for this and cut-down spacers from the saddlebag supports to fit the altered gap. As long as I got the Honda OEM seat tabs tucked in securely where they were meant to go, though, all went together well. It wasn't an easy installation, getting all the spacers and washers and the seat tabs lined up, and I am loathe to remove the seat next time I need to get underneath it - but altogether I've added a ton of carrying capacity for long distance rides, with two spare tanks of gas and room for camping gear and sundries. Having to remove the Honda toolbox was no great loss in light of that.

This rack looks like I would be nice if implemented properly. It takes a significant about of bending to mount properly (feels like aluminum). I'm also not sure I'm comfortable with torque the spacers cause. Only reason I fought with it is I don't feel like taking to the UPS store for a return.
