Terrible fitment. I can agree with the other person on the places where the it hits the chassis. The hangers on the muffer are also terrible. I had to weld the hanger back because it broke off. Save your money and buy a 1320 exhaust system.

Bought this for my 2000 CR-V, absolutely love it! It has a deep low tone, Not too loud, eliminates most of the rasp or "angry bumblebee" sound everyone hates. Also it fit perfectly with the factory hangers, no modification needed, which I was surprised, most aftermarket anything doesn't fit right. All in all I'm impressed, definitely the cheapest best exhaust I've ever purchased!

Regarding the issues with the Yonaka exhaust for my Honda CR-V that does not fit. The issues are outlined below:1) The mid tube hangs very low near it’s rear-most portion, which runs under the drive shaft and under the fuel tank.2) The tubing on the forward facing portion of the muffler sits against the rear stabilizer bar bracket.3) The hangar hook at the over-the-axle area is welded on at the wrong angle and positions the rubber hangar against the pipe, which would burn it.4) The hanger hooks on the rear of the muffler are welded on at incorrect spots and cocks the muffler at an angle. one side is welded on too low as well.I was an exhaust and suspension tech for 5 years. I have installed many, many stock and custom exhausts for years and have built custom exhausts as well. My car’s exhaust is stock-Honda-bolt-on and fit perfectly (I had to reinstall it). The rubber hangers are all stock length and there are no changes to my car which could have affected the Yonaka fit — no header, no custom cat-converter, no modified tubes.The Yonaka is supposed to be bolt-on with no modifications needed but to make it fit correctly would require cutting and welding of the tubing and hanger hooks. The exhaust tube mid-pipe and over-the-axle area bends are incorrect. It appears that when the Yonaka muffler was also welded to the tubing at the wrong angle which made the fit even more incorrect. I tried every conceivable orientation and it just does not fit. It would require cutting/welding of the hangers hooks, the tubing and tube bends to make it fit. As this is supposed to be a bolt-on system this should not be the case. Also I this is stainless steel and thus any welding changes would render those areas prone to rust.As this was a vendor using Amazon the only option they would offer me was for me to pay the shipping ($100) and get a refund minus 25%, which was nearly a wash. Amazon CS was virtually no help. So it is stored in my attic until I figure out what to do with it and I consider it money thrown away!

I do like it, but the '97 CR-V AWD that I purchased this kit for has almost no body noise insulation, so my wife hates it. Unfortunately, the sound is so loud that it becomes almost unusable for long drives, which I do rather regularly. So, after owning it for only a month, my wife requested that it be replaced with something more stock sounding, and I have complied.One word of advice to people adding this kit to a 97 CRV: get longer hangers. The pipe is a wider diameter than a stock pipe and the stock hangers will fit too close to the rear sway bar. It'll rub and transfer sound resonance directly through your frame to the front windshield. That pressure vibration gave me a headache after driving for more than an hour. The kit is cool looking, sounds nice and deep, and amplifies the four-banger sound at around 2300-4500rpm, so it's great in tunnels. Just keep in mind, the sound is relentless at highway speeds.

It's loud. 3000 rpm exhaust noise is quite irritating. Don't install if you want something quiet. I'm gonna need an extra resonator at minimum. The hatchback design of the crv I think makes it worse..As an update i have had a local shop install a second chambered resonator gone are any of the performance gains but back is my sanity. The product is constructed well.. but it will drive you nuts unless you want to sound like a mass of bees

The quality is okay, the fit is snug, the stainless looks great from a moderate distance, but its way louder than I was led to believe. I could do a better job on the welds but for the price, it's what I expected. I was able to make a silencer from exhaust pipe pieces I found at AutoZone for under $10.

Bought this for my sons 2001 Honda CRV because it was inexpensive and stainless steel, I figured it would outlast the car at this point, lol. The exhaust fit well, needed to get longer exhaust hangers to clear the suspension, but otherwise the exhaust is constructed well and looks good. The sound is much deeper then the OEM exhaust, but my kid is OK with that. Shipping was quick and free.
