Took a risk and a gamble on this.Wanted fo further cut down the wind noise on my go pro. This fits amazingly well over the media mod on my Hero 10.Cuts down about 80% of the wind noise and makes me a happy boy.

Use these to block wind to capture exhaust notes and I struggle to ever hear wind in any recording.

I bought this for one reason: fit on top of my Tascam DR-05. It does not do that very well at all. The elastic is way too tight, it feels like either the band will break or the top of the Tascam may break. I would NOT recommend this product for use with a DR-05.

They get the job done! As previous reviewers mention, the furry windscreen does tend to shed quite a bit, and it is a bit of a tight fit over my DR-05X recorder, but it does fit (and shouldn't fall off easily!) And as another reviewer mentions, the foam cover was a bit wrinkled in the package, but I don't really expect them to look pretty, so it's fine with me.

This windscreen surprisingly well!Wish I bought this straight away with the DR05x but I was cheap and thought I could live without it. I was wrong.Makes recording in windy conditions much more useable and doesn't muffle the audio at all.

Nice little portable recorder. The last one I had lasted 7 years until I dropped it into a pond. I use it for wildlife recordings out in the field.

It was a very tight fit. I had a tough time getting it in place. I needed to remove it to plug an external microphone into the port on my Tascam recorder and I had to cut the elastic (?) reinforced band. Other than that it works well and still works after I cut it.

This windscreen was a perfect fit for my Tascam DR-05. A little had to get on, but that meant it was a tight fit and would not come off in use. I am very pleased with the product and the overall order experience.
