If you know what this is, this will work for you. As long as you have this computer, this cable will work. I installed the cable and have had no issues since doing so. Computer charges just as it should without issue. Highly recommended.

The YWLRONG is a good, inexpensive option for replacing a bad charging port in multiple models of Dell laptops. The seller should probably add a keyword-searchable list of the specific models it will fit, in order to make the listing more appealing and helpful to consumers, but from what I can tell, it seems intended to be used in a variety of 13", 14" and 15" entry and mid-level Dell laptops, which were manufactured from around 2014 to 2020, particularly the Inspiron and Latitude series. They do specifically mention that it will fit the 3501, 3502, 3505, 3593, 3511, 5593, 5594, 5493, 3793, 3500, and 3405, so any of those should be safe. I doubt it would work for an XPS, or any of the gaming or ultra-performance computers, and obviously it won't fit the later models that use USB-C for power-in, but if you are someone who routinely does repair work on a wide range of laptops, this DC jack would be a handy multi-purpose replacement to keep in your spares bin. All that being said, an amateur attempting a one-time repair should probably stick to ordering the same oem part that's used in their exact model. While the jack size and shape may be fine, if the cable length on this part is slightly shorter than the one you're replacing, it may not reach all the way to the connector on the motherboard where it needs to plug in, and if it's too long, it may not seat properly inside the case, causing a bulge (I can confirm this one IS longer than the one from a 15" Inspiron 7559). As far as performance and build quality, the YWLRONG charging port seems fine for the price, and the manufacturer was even nice enough to include a mini Phillips-head screwdriver and a black plastic spudger, making it a pretty good value for the money.

Perfect fit in Dell Inspiron 15-3502 laptop. Only had to loosen the hinge near the charging port, work loose the cable to the PCB that the power cable attaches to, slide it off, then reverse to install. About 20 minutes to complete.
