Bought this to replace the power jack in a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1 Laptop. The original power jack had failed and the laptop battery wouldn't charge. This replacement power jack works great and came with the correct connectors for the Dell Inspiron 7706 laptop.

Even if you're not the most tech savvy person, installing a ribbon cable is simple. This works perfectly, and I haven't experienced any issues since the install shortly after purchasing. The part was damn affordable, which was awesome.

Was having problems with OEM charging port. Had to 'jiggle' the chord to get a 'light' on PC and to enable 'plugged in' msg. Got this replacement part based on earlier review. I got it, I installed it. IMPORTANT: Check out the YouTube video on how to replace this part. It will tell you how to open up your Inspiron Laptop back cover. Hint: The three uppermost screws DO NOT come entirely out. There are washers that hold them in place. Once you unscrew them you can easily snap off the back cover to get to the charging port. Thought this was going to cost hundreds to repair. Turned out just the cost of this little part and a pair of balls to do your own repair.

My refurbished pc from Best Buy stopped charging correctly and I thought it was the adapter but after buying a new one, I realized it wasn’t. This was a quick install to exchange the bad one out. Works great. No more wiggling my power cord around or holding it in position.
