Install went smooth (even though it’s not a fun install) and it’s working just fine for now. Good replacement

I bought this part even though I've heard that only Mopar part will work. I decided to take a chance because of the major price difference and how hard the actual Mopar part is to get in time frame it take to get it I need my vehicle running now. Put the part on it fit very well it was not hard to get in the hole that it goes in. Although it is quite a task to change out a crank shaft sensor. It did work just fine my vehicle would not start before after installing the part it crank right up and ran just fine now I just got it in installed tonight so as far as long-term I can't say if the part will last the test of time that's why I gave it four stars and not five because I can't give and honest opinion as far as the lifespan of the part but it went in fine and cranked fine so no complaints and also arrived on time actually a day early

I drive a 2000 Cherokee Laredo and have the same problem as most with the stalling while driving with no restart, and sometimes took hours being stuck on the roadside before it would start again. This part was completely identical to the one removed and was an easy install since I had previously got the wrong one and had to go through the process twice already. Best tip I found was to tie a string on the plug before u unplug and pull through then tie it to the new plug so its easier to feed it back through to plug it in. Total game changer! And a lot less stressful. So far so good and if that changes I will update my review but I have a feeling its gonna stay that way.

OEM fit for 2004 Jeep WJ Grand Cherokee, Special Edition, 2wd, 4.0L. I found it easiest to replace this from under vehicle by placing a floor jack under engine brace cross-member, then removing cross-member bolts and lowering engine a few inches until I had enough clearance to reach up and remove the bolt and sensor. Make sure to route the new sensor cable properly to the passenger side or it will be too short. Again, I found it easiest to route cable from underside of vehicle. No issues so far in first 1500 miles.

After installing the sensor I could not plug it in to the mating connector. Had to uninstall. The connector in of the sensor is to large to fit int jeeps mating connector. Very dis appointed after spending so much time installing the sensor. Removed and bought a sensor from Auto Zone.

Kinda self aligns itself as it has a mounting tab and a screw that make it go into a specific placeNot easy to install , but I was putting in a brand new engine so it was easy for me, seems to be working , no engine codes

This came to my home in just 2 days. It came just as ordered. And so far is working well. My only issue is it would be nice if they had some form of instruction for install instead of having to "YouTube" it, to figure installation
