Unfortunately I was unable to attempt installation until March 1 and the return window closed on Jan 31 or I certainly would have requested a refund! The crank shaft position sensor looks like the original Saab part, but my car wouldn’t even turn over after install. I put the old one back in and car started right up - but I still have the same code. I wish it worked, but it did not. You can see that the brown rubber gasket disintegrated upon install - the part was in my car for a total of 2 attempted cranks then removed.I recommend you spend a few more $ and save yourself a lot of time and hassle!

I bought this item for my sons 2007 Chevy cobalt SS. We had been having problems with the car idling up and down at stop lights and it would shutdown going down the road. So far it has worked good and all our issues we were having went away. I would buy it again.
