Easy five stars! The first batch all showed up dead, so I reached out to the seller. We waited a little until the holidays were over for the best chance of survival. Then he shipped a new ten to me free of charge!Great seller, and the cutest little snails!They have laid lots of eggs now, so I have to deal with that. But seriously great seller, and cute snails!

i received maybe 11 or 12 in mail. maybe 5 survived, please you dont be naive to think your going to get 100 out of 100 survival rate. the ones that survived have done an amazing job and tripled in size over last month no doubt to the abundance of algae. my fish and i couldn't be happier. it took about a month for the five snails to square away tank. good luck

Snails arrived well packaged in a moist paper towel, in a plastic bag with air and extra moisture. This bag was in a box with paper. The snails were all in good shape and all started exploring their new home. They are small and I like this because that means they will be growing up and living in my tank longer than if I had received a full grown adult. Thanks and I would buy from your site again.

Turns out they are invasive. It took 5 weeks and they have taken over my tank. But my tank has never been cleaner.

My Ramshorn snails get to about 1/2” dia, multiply fast (but not nearly to the point of overcrowded) and help keep my outdoor 50 gal pond clean of debris from decaying water plants. They are quite a beautiful shade of pink/red. They have been in the pond for about 9 months now. Fingers are crossed that they will survive winter, but I have a heater, so they should be fine.

Update - March 7th. Do not buy these! they produce new snails that are tiny dots. They product so many that they cloud the aquarium walls. They make it dirty! Then, to reduce the #’s, the only way to get rid of them is to crush them. U can’t turn them loose bc they are an invasive species. I didn’t know this when I made the purchase. Now, I have to either kill them or create a Ramshorn aquarium ONLY. But, that will only produce. 😪Original post - I ordered snails through Amazon bc I was unable to find any decent ones locally. The snails arrived in an insulted package & were inside a plastic container with moist towels & a little food. I acclimated them to their new home. Then, picked each snail out to make sure all were alive. Every single snail was healthy & alive. They immediately started moved around the aquarium & seem to be very happy in their new home. I would definitely buy again. Beautiful color too.
