Purchased this item to install a shade sail. The sail was an 18'X18'X18' triangle. The wire was of good quality and held lots of tension. The plastic coating on the wire protects it from rusting. Hooks, loops, and anchors work very well.

We've got a lot of sunlight in our backyard, so I picked-up a shade-sail (I know that's probably not right, but I can't remember the actual name.Anyway, to mount this properly, I needed something better than rope and nails.This works well. The 1/16" cable wasn't too big to get through the grommets, and since it's got plastic coating, it will weather the weather.The turnbuckles make it easy to keep tension on, and it works good for the load.

When it worked....she was a beauty. Amazing. However, despite following the instructions, she sadly perished and snapped. It was a warm day, little breeze, and I was hanging sheets. Very lightweight load and it snapped very suddenly.This was within the span of 12 hours, so needless to say...I will be going to the local hardware store next time.

Wire is good ... but spool it ships on was broken and wire was a mess ... cheap plastic spool
