I have bunions that I inherited from my mother. HOWEVER - I have been able to control mine for the past 20 years by using gel toe separators like these. 20 years ago my Vietnamese manicurist told me to get them to avoid my bunions getting worse. I did, and am happy to report that they work very well.They may also reduce knee pain caused by your feet/toes ding things that they shouldn't. Start by wearing the smaller ones for a few hours at a time, and work your way up to wearing them all day. They made a huge difference in my knee pain as well as the condition of my feet.Sometimes a little prevention can help one avoid expensive and painful and often unsuccessful surgery. Just saying. Hardly will cost you anything to try!

Half were large and half small, and the small were not at all useful to me.The large ones were not quite as large as the toe spacers I have been using, and were uncomfortable.
