This will be the same review for both the 2,000 and 3,000 grit sponges.Do not use these on wood, there is no reason to sand wood beyond 400 grit. Once you finish it, then sand the finish, not the wood.At this level of grit, these are meant for automotive and aerospace finishes as well as plastics. I am using them on plastic windshields and then will finish with plastic polish.Using these pads on a random orbital sander is much faster than trying to sand by hand.

works great bang for the buck this is the best buy I have ever made on these type of buys. I use them for knife making. They leave a great finish and can be rinsed out many times. They also work very well for cleaning my bowling balls.
