A/C COMPRESSIOR BELT INSTALLATION
Install the Belt Installation Tool
- Step 1: Place it over the ac belt onto the ac compressor and firmly attach it.
Rotate the Pulley
- Step 2: Rotate the pulley to be 5 or 6 o’clock position and slide the belt over the balancer (Crankshaft pulley).
- Step 3: Once you have your socket and ratchet on the main bolt of the crankshaft begin to rotate in a clockwise fashion.
- It also help if you pull on the belt in the upward position so there is more tension on the belt and it will catch on the ac compressor.
Adjust the Belt
- Step 4: Now the belt begins to stretch over. At this point you have to make sure you are in the grooves of the ac compressor.
- Cycle your ratchet to the reverse or counterclockwise, and cycle back, watching carefully on the ac compressor so it does not fall out of the grooves.
- You can pull the belt to achieve proper alignment.
- Then remove the belt installer and you're ready to go.

I tried on a BMW x5 3.0 2007 to install a ac belt and never worked I just lost my money
