After four years of gardening, I finally managed to grow a 12 foot mammoth sunflower and a few other tall ones too! Just as they began to open the next morning they were eaten and decapitated by squirrels.So as any determined gardener would do, I just planted more sunflower seeds. And in the meantime, I was trying to figure out a solution because this has always been an ongoing problem.These mesh bags are cinched at the bottom, and I will be putting these over the heads of the sunflowers when they begin to open ever so slightly.And if these don’t work for that purpose, I will be able to use these to protect my vegetables growing in pots especially those with cages.I highly recommend this product and I am very happy with the mesh size too. This will give protection from the sun as we are in zone 10 which is a very hot and humid climate. Wind is able to pass through the mesh too which is super important. These will also help protect the vegetables from pests as well.Highly recommend especially because of the cinch bottom!

This is a simple, well-constructed protective mesh bag that will help ensure that I get my share of the blueberry harvest this year! Typically, the birds have stripped my bushes bare a day or two before I was going to harvest the ripe berries. The bags are a good size, the mesh is fine enough to keep out the critters while letting plenty of air, sunlight and water in, and the zipper makes installation easy. At less than $5 each, they are a good value for money, since I expect that it will be possible to get multiple seasons out of them.

Works well to protect the fruit in my trees from birds and squirrels. It was easy to open to full size and to drape over the branches of the tree. I think this is a good product for the money

The bags arrived in good condition, but a wish I had ordered with zippers up the side to facilitate picking blueberries.

I ended up cutting these up to size to protect several young plantings from deer. I wasn’t prepared for the fact that they are in fact simple rectangular bags, so they hang awkwardly on anything that isn’t very bushy. The fabric is white so things stand out a little, but it’s better than losing the plants. When I tried putting it on a tree with delicate new shoots, it knocked some off because it’s also surprisingly heavyweight despite being sheer. I wouldn’t recommend them for my use-case, but for what they’re intended for (protecting fruit on actual grown trees from birds), they’re probably fine.
