These were relatively easy to fit on my 6 Gal Dometic water heater.The original failed after 1 year. RV Dealer cost was 7x the price for one of these. Having 3 spares is a big plus also.New one in and tested fine on both propane and electricity.

For under 20 bucks and less than 15 minutes I replaced major parts and got my motor home hot water heater working again. I also have extra now to carry with me as these are common issues. Owning a motor home will kill you financially with shop work if you dont know how to fix things your self . Plus you will be fighting to get someone to work on it and most of the time you are supposed to be out enjoying yourself not waiting in line for a simple fix.

Just like all the other comments, no hot water. Breakers and fuses all fine. This little guy was the culprit. Easy fix. We have a Forest River, class C, 3041DS. Keep spares for the future.
