Why does VWAG have so many different version of the oil control valve for the VVT system? I don't know. But this kit has you covered with all of the different types you'll need. I had a Passat with erratic VVT control that was causing faults to set and the check engine light to illuminate. I was able to use this kit to replace the valve without issue. I was able to use my 3/8" torque wrench with this tool as well; proper torque is important because the case will warp if overtorqued. All of the pieces are high quality and the storage case is very nice to keep the set together.
