Dodge Jeep Pentastar 3.6 Cam Phaser Locking Tools 10202 & T-Chain Holders 10200, 10369
10202 - New Camshaft Phaser Locks are used to hold the Camshaft Phaser’s while performing the loosening and tightening of the Oil Control Valves during service procedures on the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep 3.6 L Engine.
NOTE: 10202-1 is used on the Right Bank and 10202-2 is used on the Left Bank. The 10369 is used on some 2011's and 2012.
10200A -10200 These new Timing Chain Holders are used as wedges to loosen the tension on the Timing Chains during Camshaft and Phaser service procedures on the 3.6 L Engine. NOTE: 10200-1 & 10200-3 are used on Driver’s Side 10200-2 is used on Passenger’s Side.
2012 and newer models also require 10369A, regardless of if your repair manual mentions it or not. Some later production 2011 models may also require 10369A, depending on the size of bolt #4 in the front cover tightening sequence on the right bank (cylinder head closest to firewall). If that bolt head is 13MM the 10369A is needed. If it is 10MM the 10200-2 would be used.

Tried to insert the tension release tool and it broke halfway into the timing cover...had to spend 12 hours doing a timing chain job because of a cheap chinese made imitation tool...so the few dollars that could have been saved got wasted on gaskets taking the timing cover off to retrieve broken plastic pieces. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!

Made taking the cams out of my 3.6l v6 easy - loosens the tension on the chains easily and holds them in place. I still marked everything just in case but they didn't move at all and car ran perfect afterwards.

This is an excellent tool if you are only going to swap out rockers on the Pentastar V6 once or twice. The durability of the tool is adequate for a few jobs but not many. If you only need it to get the job done and you will probably never use this set again, this is perfect. If you want to buy this to work as a professional, I would look for a more durable set. Otherwise, it's an excellent value.

2015 Dodge Charger 3.6 liter. Everything worked and fit. Definitely recommend. Make sure to watch videos on how to use. Chain tools will tend to slip when working on it. Not the fault of the tool. Just on how to keep it there. Blocks keep everything locked.

The grenade pin need to be modified to fit and the plastic guide tool broke the lip off when prying started. The alignment blocks were tight fit but worked well to remove sprockets.
