I’m a VW tech and picked up this kit, overall it is decent quality, however the two black camshaft locks are not as tall as the oem tool. The exhaust side sits up too far, and the intake side too far down and doesn’t even reach the camshaft gear teeth.

The tools are of course a cheaper knock off from the VW Audi tools but the case did not even have secure tabs or locking tabs on the case so everything fell out. Luckily no pieces are exactly the same except the spool valve removal adapters. I have to zip tie the case shut. Luckily I’m not doing timing chains everyday but that’s garbage.
