I have only used these a couple of times so far on light tasks like a broken faucet.In use, they released good when I needed them to, and the jaws have good deep teeth.These seem decent, I won't say they are high strength or high quality as they have some play in their joints and they don't feel as stout as some of my other brands. Until I have something that is going to take some real stress, I cannot attest to how string these may actually be, but my impression is that these are for your average job like grabbign a screw or clamping a piece of metal to another piece while you tack it.They come in a typical clamshell case, but it does not hold the pliers well as when I recieved it they were all tossed around between the plastic halves.

This tool set was very impressive and has a really nice, sturdy case. My brother is learning to be a plumber so I got this kit for his birthday and he really loved it. He has been using it this week and called to tell me it’s been great! I don’t know much about tools but if he says it’s good, then it’s good!

These pliers are great. They seem to be sturdy. They have a good weight to them. I like that they come with their own carrying case. The case seems nice and sturdy also. There are several different sized pliers to help with different jobs.

These are just okay for everyday sorts of uses. The metal is quite soft and I expect the jaws to deform significantly with heavy use or after applying a lot of force trying to twist something made of a hard material.The joints are very loose and the jaws of the long nose pliers don't stay aligned.The release lever is too close to other handle making it difficult to get your finger in there to unlock it.Also, there is some sharp metal around the jaws on most of these pliers due to the sloppy way these were ground.The stuff available at CT is significantly better than these.Normally it's a plus to have a case for tools but I don't see much of a point for it here. The plastic "hinge" and the plastic locks of the case are flimsy and won't stand up to much normal use. The interior is moulded to fit these pliers so the case can't be repurposed.

For the money, these are good. The kit has the standard 5-Piece Locking Pliers oft used for repairing and welding.The build quality is average, but adequate for DIY welding and repair work - as in my case.Functionally all the 5 pliers work well. Adjusting the clamping force as well as releasing works like any other pro-grade (high-end) Locking Pliers.Comes in a decent storage/carry case.Good value budget Locking Pliers set.
