Nice tool but doesn’t close all the way to get smaller nuts loose.

Literally flawless straight out of the box. Amazing grip and teeth. No idea why other manufacturers stopped making battery terminal pliers such as these - they are incredible in tough-to-reach areas. Excellent tool that I will be grabbing for quick work.

These are excellent, high quality, and for what you get practically economy priced. I believe made one the US could be Taiwan. I'm really impressed with the company so much so that I bought a full set of screwdrivers to replace the hodgepodge of snap on matco Mac proto etc that I've been using for years. First time I used this little pair of pliers I was impressed it's got bite the jaws are hard enough and the leverage you get is incredible. I've been a master technician for almost 30 years and I'm finding that looking outside the truck is a good idea these days. The company stands behind the tools too. I destroyed a socket from them really should have not been doing what I did with it (but it worked) I send them an email with a photo and I got one in the mail.

I got this and the 250mm Knipex Raptor at the same time. The Tekton was a bit more than half the price, but I'm sad to say it's less than half the tool.Good:Dipped handles are comfy.Thin profile reaches into narrow spots (about 5/16" thick).Hinge feels sturdy.Bad:Non-adjustable jaw has a very narrow size range. Can't grip anything under 5/16" or over 5/8".Short handles really don't provide much leverage. The size range is absolutely killer. This jaw design is great for the 7/16" nuts you find on common 1/4-20 fasteners, but very little else. The teeth dig in just fine, but mar up the surface. Compared to the Raptor which starts a little larger (maybe 3/8") but goes up to huge (easily 1 1/4"), and somehow achieves a more solid grip with smooth jaws that don't mar the nut, the Tekton is just embarrassing. I'll give it to a new guy or something.
