Installation Information and Precautions

1.Preparation: Before installing, make sure the engine is completely cooled and disconnected from the power source for safety 2.Clean area: Before replacing the carburettor, clean the work area to avoid debris entering the engine 3.Remove the old carburettor: carefully remove the old carburettor, taking care to note the location of the connections so that the new carburettor can be installed correctly 4.Check fittings: make sure that the new carburettor and fittings are intact and replace the old seals and screws if necessary 5.Install the new carburettor: install the new carburettor in place according to the recorded connection positions, making sure the connections are secure 6.Check for leaks: once the installation is complete, start the engine and check for fuel leaks to ensure everything is in order

Great value, the fuel shut off valve was handy. The lines provided don't fit the fuel inlet on the carb, too small. Didn't work out of the box, took a bit of dialing in the low and high speed settings but that is to be expected. Like others that reviewed, I had to change the metal arm for the throttle to the aluminum one off the original carb, wasn't too difficult.

The throttle arm that is operated by wind from the flywheel is made of steel instead of aluminum like the OEM ones,so every revolution of the flywheel the magnetic attracts the arm and then releases it once it's past,so your engine just revs up and down. Then when you try to return it,they want it dropped off at a UPS depot,which there is not one in my town.
