Very easy to follow instructions and came with everything needed to replace the foam on my speakers. They work as good as new.

I did get the speakers fixed but it required a bit of thought to make the foam work. Lots of glue

re-foaming is not difficult unless you're impatient, don't meticulous clean the gluing areas or just have "club hands"...if you have anyone of those three impediments, then spend the money go buy drop-in drivers...

Seller was easy to deal with and exchanged a pair of surrounds that did not fit which was my fault as I provided the wrong model to Seller. Transaction was smooth and no problems with Simply Speakers. However, to those considering this life support method for their aging speakers, I have done some soldering caps to circuit boards and glued on a dust cap before so I have a tiny bit of familiarity with tinkering with stuff. I spent a day and half prepping and repairing woofers. The result; both pairs despite my moving the cone up and down to make sure that I had some clearance after having dried had the voice coil hitting the magnet - disappointing. Fortunately they were a pair of speakers my Dad uses in his garage. I would recommend ponying up the money to have more expensive drivers reconed by a professional. In the case of these advent speakers, replacement Drivers are available for $30 a piece on ebay and elsewhere and I would suggest that as a better option if you are considering this. If the kit was $10 I would say you get what you pay for but at $27, which is nearly half the price of brand new drivers, I would have hoped that it included some alcohol and a brush and some other implements to assist in the process. It was spartan and in my opinion a PIA and not worth the money. I see a bunch of reviews from people with mid to high end speakers that rave about this product. I have a pair of Dahlquists DQ20s and I was thinking that might be a cheaper solution than new drivers or having the existing drivers rebuilt again in a couple of years when the surrounds go again. Wrong. Would never attempt it again. There was no misrepresentation by Seller - however, this is not a slam dunk as the various testimonials and youtube tutorial indicate. I am no brain surgeon but have swapped out car parts after watching a tutorial with no where's near the "weeping and gnashing of teeth."
