Had an annoying SRS light on my 2005 Honda Element. I saw several videos suggesting to use a paper clip however that didn’t work for me. This worked like a charm.

Does what it's supposed to do.

Work well to clear the SRS codes in a 2000 Honda Civic EX after the steering wheel and rack was removed. It was kinda stiff to connect and remove like most auto connectors. I normally would have used a jumper but the factory service manual said several times not to use a jumper (they mention using jumpers and other non-honda tools elsewhere in the manual so I assume it's not about selling their tools).

Honda gives you only 4 seconds to disconnect and reconnect with the STICKY connector tool under the dashboard. Very difficult to do that and watch the MES light at the same time. Just use two long wires with stripped ends (see Youtube) so you can watch the light and short and open from the comfort of the drivers seat. Easy!

Yeah you can use a piece of wire to short the SCS connector, but this works too.
