I use the timer feature so it opens at 6am every morning and closes at the same time in the evening, super convenient and it works every day. The solar feature is excellent and the product keeps enough power to run the door even on rainy and cloudy days.

Crazy how well this thing works. Really simple to plug in and set up, has a timer so I don't have to go out and let my chickens out in the way too early hours of the morning, and it goes back up if you put your hand in the way. It could be a little bigger for bigger birds like turkeys and ducks, however, my birds love the extra freedom.

We have only had this product installed for a week but I love it!! The chickens already know the door will open for them and wait in line to hop into their yard. I should have done this years ago!
