First of all I hate how I am forced to purchase both of them and had no option for just one of them. Once I took them out the box I could tell the brim was flimsy and wouldn't stay up so I tried to flatten it for a couple weeks before the anime convention I was going to but it still wouldn't stay up. Overall the quality isn't bad and if you're wearing it for a luffy cosplay I'd suggest just wearing it around the neck instead of on your head.

I bought these for my wife and I to be Luffy from One Piece. There is no stiffness in the brim. I tried spraying it with aquanet to try to make it more like what they are supposed to look like with very limited results.
