We have always trusted Bloch for our ballet shoes. These fit true to the size guide and I haven’t had to return. Will be buying again when we need to size up. Price was also reasonable

My daughter is a street size 2 and this was the size I ended up with after buying a half size up (I'll keep that for when she grows out of this). Comfortable and adjustable with the tie front.

How can you go wrong with Bloch? Very nice split sole ballet slippers. The ribbon came sewed on. True to size.

Packaging wasn’t that nice but the shoes came in one piece.I wear a size 7 street shoe and ordered the ballet shoes in 5 wide. It fit perfectly and allowed me the option to tighten the sides with the elastic strings. However, the length was a tiny bit short. My big toe was right against the toe box wall.It wasn’t uncomfortable and would probably have stretched out with use over time but I fear if I did, there would be a hole where my big toe is within a few uses.So I decided to order a 5.5 regular (not wide or narrow). Can’t wait to see how those will fit.Edit: The shoe this time came in an actual “Bloch” packaging / bag. This 5.5 regular fits so much better. It is a more loose fit than the 5 wide but that’s my preference. The length is perfect and the drawstrings allow the sides to be tighten.

I wear 8.5-9.5 in street shoes. Ordered a 6.5, neither narrow nor wide. Lengthwise they’re perfect - turns out I should have ordered a narrow but they’re just fine for doing barre exercises at home!

I initially bought the canvas type…which are okay, but still much prefer the leather slipper I grew up dancing in. So I recommend? Sure do! Just be sure to look at the sizes and pick the correct one!

Lovely shoe but I am a classic 6.5 and I am wearing a 5.5 in these, could have ordered a 5 for a more snug toe box but I didn’t have time to wait. I love them just beware they run large.*great quality. January of 2023 and they still look new after wearing twice a week to class and practice at home. Definitely recommend.

I am very pleased with my purchase, they are great on just about any flooring. I've used them on both dance floor and carpet, and they're great! They have just enough grip that I don't fall, yet I still have a lot of movement and am able to do pirouettes and turns just fine. They fit great too! I wear a size 8 street shoe, I ordered a 6.5 for these and they fit perfectly! I love the split sole as well, split soles don't typically have very good arch support, but these actually have pretty good support. The strap is placed just right, so they don't slip off and I have very good movement in my ankles. They're really good quality in all aspects, the sole, the strap, the fit are all very nice. I really can't think of any problems I have with these, the sides kind of dig into my skin, but that will go away as I break them in. I highly recommend these for any dancer, they really are great!

El material es muy agradable, son de muy buena calidad, me quedan ligeramente grandes pero me encantan, pedí 2 tallas menos que la que uso con zapatos normales. Son muy suaves.

Wonderful ballet shoes, very soft, comfortable and durable. We have already been through many pairs only replacing them when my daughter outgrows an old pair.

I have loved Bloch dance shoes since I was a young girl -- split sole jazz shoes, ballet slippers, tap, ballroom, et cetera. I like the quality and the fit.I, personally, prefer Bloch dance shoes over their main competitor, Capezio, because I prefer the Bloch design, which seems to form to the natural foot more comfortably. (I have long, slender feet.) But this is merely a matter of personal preference. I know really talented dancers who use both brands.I purchased this particular pair for my daughter. I recommend going to a dance shoe store to try the shoes on before purchasing them online. The sizing for dance shoes is slightly different than street shoes. It is advisable to have them properly fitted.(I don't recommend Bloch or Capezio for pointe.)

I am not a dancer, but wanted a pair of slippers to use in the house. I read on here that the sizing would be a little tricky, and I was a little nervous especially because my feet are huge and never fit into anything-- I am a size 10! So, I ordered an 8.5 D just because I was afraid of having width issues. Turns out the width is fine but the length is a bit off. There is a little bit of space in front of my toes, (1/2 an inch) but in all honesty, it's not a big deal since I won't be using these for dancing. All that matters is that I can walk in them. They are really comfortable by the way! I trust that they will last quite some time.
