Works well to hold the intake and exhaust cams when doing the timing belt.

The hex heads were not machined properly to fit the fasteners on the cam gears that the entire purpose of this tool is for. They were too large. I had to grind them down. You get what you pay for. 🤷♂️

Price is great, but as others have said I had to take a dremel/grinder to it for it to fit in the cam gears. Was just a little too large. If you don't have the means or don't want to bother with the time I would look at a different one.

I read a few reviews that said that this doesn’t fit the Subaru EJ motor and they are for sure correct. The Allen keys are one size too big. I know some people just ground theirs down but I wasn’t going to do that. Seems like good material but doesn’t work for WRX Sti EJ25

I got this to do my timing belt in my 2012 wrx. The allen heads are to big and it does fit in the cams, i used my grinder to shave it down to fit and then it wouldn't lock the cams. I fought with it for almost 8 hrs then i gave up. Save your money and just get the company 23 one or a different name brand one. Yes it costs more but the Aggravation that it will save you is worth it!!!

The tool worked well for it's intended purpose once I filed down the hex insert. One of them fit perfectly into the cam bolt and the other was too big so I had to grind all sides down.

Despite being cheaper than the Company 23 version, this piece works well. Bar material is a bit thinner and the edges aren't quite as smooth, but neither affects operation.
