Was ready to leave a bad review. But once I updated the engine via bluetooth. It all worked great.My kids love this with the train.Did not know I had to update the engine though!

It's costly because of the brand but there is nothing special about it. Cheap hard plastic that breaks easily. Look elsewhere for same without the name brand if you'd rather hold onto your hard earned money!

Like others, I bought this w/o realizing I had to also buy the smart tech engine and download the app, so I ended up spending about $100 for a 3yr old grandson's train accessory. His father is still trying to figure out the app and send me a video of the tunnel working, but I found one on YouTube and it's not very impressive. Live and learn - Brio is expensive and doesn't live up to expectations.

Onze smartec trein was al wat ouder en diende eerst geüpdatet te worden via de brio app. Nadien werkte alles zeer goed.
