Mine arrived in great condition. I kept it inside for a couple of weeks. It lost some leaves and a few buds. After I placed it outside of started to bloom within a week or so. I am now enjoying the sublime scent of gardenia blossoms. It was a great value really for a nice addition to my patio.

The plant never survived the shock of being shipped. It started losing leaves immediately, and would not bounce back. Now the entire plant has withered and died.I ordered a different plant at the same time which is thriving, but this one appears to have been too sensitive.I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering, as it appears many others have had this issue as well.

It arrived well packed, bought this on sale with another bonsai with this company. I was mildly irritated with the sheer amount of packing peanuts I had to wade through to g9et them out of the box but both were in excellent health, complete with everything promised, and had been packed well enough that the soil was still moist. One downside to this though is the gardenia has spider mites. It happened soon after arrival and none of the other plants around it have shown symptoms yet. This is one of those things that can happen but it is irritating none-the-less.Overall, great buy.Update April 25th, 2019:I killed it. It was doing fine until winter. My inexperience with this type of tree and lack of ability to keep it outside put it into shock. I got to see it bloom though and it was an excellent learning opportunity. I am considering buying again.

Tree was dry upon receipt. Some of the leaves were brittle, yellowed or spotted. Looks sad.. Packaged carefully with second tree purchased which was nice but very disappointed in the tree. Was delivered and signed for. And brought in immediately. Can't blame the weather.

The plant itself looks healthy but did not receive everything in the description. Missing the humidity tray and rock? Definitely packaged very well and arrived safely.
