All the leaves fell off shortly after receiving it. That's just the shock of shipping. All trees I've ever ordered have shed their leaves. They bounce back with proper care. Don't order bonsai in the winter ups trucks are too cold for them. Unless your ordering a species that tolerates cold.

the tree is fairly good (all leaves came off, perhaps shipping handling and weather changes but new ones have started to growth); however, the "Comes potted in 6" Handmade Ceramic Bonsai Pot" is no where near ceramic!! it is just a simple brown clay pot. I've contacted the vendor multiple times (given the benefit of the doubt and an opportunity to make things right) but unfortunately I've gotten a very poor response and unfulfilled commitment. The communications via email and voice mail have gone for about a month now thus this is certainly not a kind of merchant to recommend and to do business with. if taken the time to write this review informs someone to make an educated decision then I'll consider time well spend
