I put a Legend on my all weather 30.06 after my old beater scope gave up some years ago. I’m an Alaskan and carry that .06 on my snowmobile all winter or behind my truck seat, onboard boats or canoes when the snow melts, sometimes mounted to an ATV and occasionally in a motorcycle scabbard. Our weather is simply hard on equipment most of the time. The adjustments rifle scopes eventually go bad in arctic temps because frigid cold is rough on the seals. Saltwater and monsoon rains in warm weather aren’t quite as destructive but I still don’t breakout finer optics and pretty blued rifles unless the forecast says sunny and clear. Our bad weather generally dictates budget scopes that hold up well, won’t fog up, are generally reliable and relatively affordable to replace. The Legend series checks all of those boxes, stands up to being banged around and still holds a zero remarkably well so, I prefer a Legend rifle scope over other budget brands and models on centerfire rifles.

Reticle center is very thin, it's super easy to see your target. Great clarity. Red dot isn't over-powering so it works very well in low light. Very happy with this scope.

TERRIBLE. Looses ZERO. Don’t buy !!!!For all the people who gave this scope 2-5 stars , it’s not about the pretty lights in the scope.It’s about the accuracy the scope can maintain.It’s about the scope’s ability to maintain ZERO!!!!You must shoot with this scope multiple times in order to find out yourself if it maintains its zero or not. I already know.Chinese made scopes are terrible !Keep with the Japanese or German, Swiss made scopes. Namely Trijicon sig saucer or something else.I love Bushnell’s Legend Recticle.However, their Chinese manufacturer FAILED to make a scope that works correctly.NOTE: this is the second time, I bought a Bushnell rifle scope that didn’t work correctly 😞.Done with Bushnell scopes and “Pinty” another scope that has a china based manufacturer that I have tried. Both terrible.Know more expensive. I actually hate to say it because I’m always looking for a bargain. But, in my opinion, save your money for a Trijicon scope. It will be worth your effort.Good glass is invaluable !!Although , I have never personally tried - I hear Schmidt and Bender & Night Force scopes are great but very expensive.Wish- you happy shooting…especially accuracy 😊
