I got a few in there but I kill more with the tennis rack than it catches

I was surprised that it took as long as it did for the bees to be caught by it but once 1 or 2 were caught the jars became full quickly. But as I said it was slow starting, but I didn’t use any bait or enticement products when I set up the traps but after the 1st week (1&1/2 week can’t remember exactly) they started to fill. My neighbor told me when he hung his he just let them fill until the season ended and did the same thing the next year too. We are almost out of the carpenter bee season so I’ll wait until it’s done before I empty mine as he did with his so hopefully they will be able to preform even better next season 😁

These traps do not work; I followed all the instructions on placement, bait, etc. and have waited a long time and nothing; I ended up paying an exterminator to rid me of the carpenter bees. I wanted to return the traps; only used one but of course the return window closed YESTERDAY! As much as these cost $56.00 they not only should work but the return time should be longer to allow us to see if they will. Now I am out of $56.00 and they are useless.

The carpenter bees ignored the trap completely until I killed one and put it in the jar. After that I would notice one ever once in a while would be in the jar. But to be honest, I haven't seen many carpenter bees this year (2025). I'll update as time goes on.

I had a carpenter bee infestation on an exterior pole. I would spray multiple times a day but they they would keep coming back. I got this been house product and put it on the pole and been capturing them ever since. It works. Give it a little time for them to find it but once they find it they see others in the trap and they are drawn into it.

The joists under our deck were getting attacked by carpenter bees. We found three nests and every time I was in the back yard, we'd see at least one carpenter bee.We killed @ 5 by getting the spray inside their nests... I then bought and installed these traps and sealed the holes for their nests... Since then, we've only caught one carpenter bee... But there are also no holes, and we're not seeing other bees, so I'm guessing this was the last one! I'm not sure why or how the bees cannot get out - but the traps work!

When I first bought this, I honestly didn't have high hopes. I thought for sure it wouldn't work and I'd be returning it in a few weeks. Lo and behold, it's insanely effective. It took until the weather warmed up for it to start working, but it's working like a charm. There are FOUR carpenter bees in that photo!! It's a little pricey, but it works so well that it's worth it.

We have had a difficult time with Carpenter Bees this season in N. FL. So a friend recommended we try these traps. So far, after 2 weeks with one hanging at the corner of our new horse barn and one hanging on the corner of the house, we have caught NO bees. We chose each location based on the directions included with the Traps. To be 100% fair, we may have been a little late in the "season" to install them since we now see no bees hovering around anymore. We will try again next year when the bees first start to arrive.
