We weighed paying a little less than half for a wood bow, and my daughter's teacher said the choice between this codabow and a wood bow was easy...invest in a bow you can be sure about. This bow has met and exceeded our expectations. Great tone and volume that my daughter just could not get out of her wood bow.

I bought this bow sight unseen based upon word of mouth from friends and reviews from around the internet. I'm a traditional, old-time fiddler and the thought of a carbon fiber bow really troubled me. I'm so very glad that I took the gamble and bought this bow. I am convinced these are the best balanced, playable bows for the money. I'll be leaving my $2,500 pernambuco bow in the case from now on as this thing plays head and shoulders above it. If you're on the fence, don't 'be. This is the best bang for the buck you'll ever find.

I started with a brazilwood stick. Really, it feels like a stick. The Codabow is so well-balanced by comparison. The sound it draws out is lovely and clear. It holds the rosin well, and I am appreciating it more and more as I learn new techniques. I'm very happy with this bow.
