This wood-boring extension drill bit is great for reaching recessed spots and for boring through thicker wood pieces.I tested this on a typical pine 2x4 and it drilled through with no problem. The drill didn't strain at all, and I used my smaller 2.5ah battery just to see how well the bit cut. The bit is sharp. The quick-release connection works great with my drills (works perfectly with the quick-release coupler as well as the standard drill chuck.This one is definitely going into the woodworking and home repair service. Great product.

You can't really appreciate how long this bit is until you have it in your hand. Yes, we know what size it is, but once you have it in person, it's so long. It is well made for that it is, pretty much the same as the other spade bits I have.This bit cuts fast, real fast, it's sharp. used it on my Makita cordless drill and it made holes fast. This is a spade bit, so not like you get nice smooth holes. These are make for drilling fast. It's not often I need a bit this long, but when I do, it's very nice to have on hand.Great bit, great price, would recommend.
