Designed to replace a common, old-style ball mount, each CURT Euro Mount is faster and easier to install with its permanently installed trailer ball. With the tow ball permanently fixed to the shank, the ball can never come loose and can never be stolen, making the Euro Mount ball mount very secure. The unique European design was created for the U.S. market, combining form, function and aesthetics. CURT Euro Mounts come with a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" shank and can tow up to 3,500 lbs. of gross trailer weight and 350 lbs. of tongue weight, making them the perfect choice for all light-duty towing. They are ideal for towing basic utility trailers, small boat trailers and canoe haulers, popup campers and small recreational vehicle trailers for dirt bikes and smaller ATVs (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). This product is made in China where it was mislabeled ....the correct part # tag was placed on the wrong drawbar....ordered it twice from Amazon....both times got the same result. Not Amazon's fault.....BAD QC CURT MANUFACTURING!!!! called Curt Mfg.....said it would probably take weeks to recall and replace mislabeled drawbars.....nice.....NOT!!!!! Bought a Reese drawbar from Auto Zone....problem solved.

It came out looking better than I'd expected. I am not sure why the one I received is different from one in the photo gallery. The description shows that the raise is 2 3/4", the one I received is 6 1/2" raise. It appears to have the same part number.

Curt Mfg hit a “home run” with this trailer hitch design. Simple, clean and futuristic looks great on rear bumper of our Subaru OutbackSolid steel construction, no sharp edges, the polished chrome ball is the widest part of the hitch. Easily stored in vehicle when not “in use”. Makes for a great theft deterrent if waved at a perpetrator. Can be used for multiple purposes, use your imagination...Thank you Curt Mfg for designing a stylish trailer hitch for today’s European designed vehicles.

First thing; this isn't a "pack of two" and glad of that; pretty sure I wouldn't need to or if they NEEDED to be a pack of two maybe not worth having. However, these are great. I replaced the flat ball mount that came with the hitch for my MINI. Looks great, seems to actually tow quieter and very solid.
