Best thigh pad I’ve used as far as absorbing impact, but moves around too much. Not ideal for inside leg kicks. Just outside leg kicks

Gift for Christmas that I was lucky to receive. Have used them twice so far and have been kicked by about 4 different people. 2 of the guys have over 20 years in the martial arts and they're both extremely well versed in throwing some hard kicks in my opinion. Had inside leg and outside leg kicks thrown at about 80% power and all I felt was pressure. On the outside leg kicks there was a slight sting at the very tip of the quadriceps but nothing unbearable. I'd like to use them more and update after some more sessions but I'm definitely pleased that I got them. Only thing I'm not too sure about is the elastic tie used around the back to help it stay in place but as I said so far so good.

Throwing kicks with these on is very difficult, so you can't spar with them. They are thick as hell and wrap around the entire upper leg, from knee to waist. Only the hamstring is exposed. As far as holding for kicks is concerned, I feel the kick, but there is not pain, even with a heavyweight kicking.
