I am a 67-year-old woman and installed this by myself without any difficulty. This is the brand that they have at Home Depot, so I wasn't worried that it would be an inferior brand. Home Depot did not have the 6ft length when I was there and I believe that you really need to have a 6 foot cord behind the stove. Four feet is not enough.

I haven't left reviews for a while because they stopped getting posted for some reason.... But thought i would try again as its been a few months...This cord is exactly what I needed for my electric range, we recently renovated one of our houses to move into and while doing so added a bunch of grounded electrical outlets for the heavier appliances. That of course then led to needing the grounded cords to use with them. It was pretty simple to follow the manual that came with my stove years ago (always keep your manuals! You never know when you will need them) on how to install the grounded cord. Works as it should. Reasonable price. Overall we are happy with it.

The actual item in the bag is different type than the picture listed on the Amazon webpage. The cord cannot plug in to power outlet, different pins.
