I got this for a little ice fishing shack we made with a little shower and place to wash dishes, and I love that this thing gives hot water instantly. The little knob on the front adjusts the water temperature and having the little temp gauge is nice.For the sink, it works awesome, nice hot water to wash hands, dishes, make warm cocoa. Its not ideal for showers though, I know its not advertised as such but figured we'd try and it runs out of hot water pretty quick when you're taking showers, however you still get a good minute to rinse off, just gotta be quick.I love that the kit came with everythign including thread tape and instructions, I just had to rig it up, tighten it all down and we've used it for 7+ days now with no issues, just plugged it right into our 1500w inverter and it stays going.If you unplug it or turn it off, it does take a an hour or 2 to warm up the water inside, so you gotta make sure you have it plugged in and set to the temperature you want and let it sit till it warms up. Not an issue for us as charge our battery with solar panels and run the inverter off the battery so we dont run out of juice for it.Physical quality is nice, nothing crazy, fittings are solid, doesnt leak and overall im happy with it for our use, nothing like having HOT water on the middle of a frozen lake.

I got this water heater for our garage which we have also have plumbed washing machine. The need for ho water comes from two dogs who return from walks looking they they have fought the Battle of the Somme and are covered in mud. Washing them off in the winter and watching them freeze is a form of animal cruelty! I got our plumber to install this along with a small sink unit. He said the installation could be done by a layman although i make it a habit never to try! Whatever the case this provides hot water around 25 yards from the main unit and the dogs are smiling. Its easy to use and the water comes out nice and warm when you get the right mix.

This this was pretty impressive. It did exactly what i bought it for. Great hot water for washing hands and in sure it would do more that just that. It did develop a leak but the company is working to replace the product. I am hoping it was just a fluke.

the heater started electrocuting me. looks like something inside didnt have insulation on water. pretty scary. might of been a defective product i have returned it. speaking from personal experience cant guarantee others will have the same issues.Edit they tried bribing me with money to delete the review. They need there profits and not your safety.

The water heater is compact in size and can easily be mounted or placed under the sink or other location. It does come with some items necessary for hooking it up but for the most part, you will need to purchase the necessary plumbing items. The connections on the heater are 1/2 inch and it comes with a pressure relief valve and a small plastic line for the relief valve.The instructions with the heater are very much lacking and were not useable. Most of it doesn't make sense and the pictures provided did not offer much help. It does seem that the relief valve connection should have rubber washers for it. I attempted the connection with plumbers tape but it still leaked. I then made a washer to fit and was able to get it to stop leaking.I installed the heater in the garage and as a standalone under the sink. The power cord is fairly short and will only work if there is a power outlet under the sink. Normally this is not an issue as most kitchens will have this. Once the connections were set, the water heater filled up quickly. The power knob is easy to use and understand. There is a distinct click when turned on. The tank lights up red when the water is heating up and turns blue when it is cooling down. When turned about half way up, the water was plenty hot coming out. The tank does heat up quickly and while it is a small tank, it does not take long for the water to heat back up.Overall, it is a nice little unit and works well under light usage. It does require additional hoses or adapters to directly hook up to a sink as most sinks are a 3/8 line and the tank is a 1/2 inch so if installing yourself, plan ahead.
